Subject: What do you think is the best fighter jet?
Name: dododas
Message: I personally think F-22 now and later.
But Also the JXX looks deadly.
I dont know much about that airplane.

Also I heard that PAKFA has high range of radar?

Message: I'd give the AIM-9X some credit and rate it as equal to the R-73A/E. It has a better seeker and better off-boresight capability but inferior rocketry and control surfaces with which to take advantage of this ( the missile is too small, it is at the end of its development life). The AIM-9X is NOT the equal of the R-73M (M2 especially), however. This refined model has a significantly improved seeker and improved motor/fuel, increasing its range and off-boresight capability. Subject: Top 10 Fighter Aircraft
Name: dododas
Message: again, this is not my list.

as w/ the naval list i posted yesterday, this list is the product of a similar program on The Military Channel where there are 5 different variables taken into account. audience polls, aviation architects, and aviation historians apparently all weighed in on the matter.

iirc, the criteria for the list was as follows:
- fear factor
- fire power
- kill ratio
- innovation
- service length
