Message: Hey guys I know what you are talking about but i know it as W.E.T.F.U.S.
And it is used as an aircraft recognition method. It stands for Wings, Engines, Tail, Fuselage, Undercarriage and special features. Hope this helps as far as the 'P' goes if it was World War Two then it was probably propeller. Please email me if you have any questions about it and if i don't know the answer i'll find out.
