Message: F-16 Falcon (the new block 52's!) for fighters...and for bombers I would be hard pressed to pick one because I don't know much about them, but either the B-1 or B-52.

Message: Don't bring atomic weapons into the discussion. Since after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, nuclear warfare has always been a deterrent. We have nukes because we know our enemies have nukes and vice versa. That way, if one country launches ICBM's, they can expect a full retaliation. Nobody wins.

That said, Russia and China are the only two nations that would stand a chance against the United States because of other (non-nuclear) technology and manpower.
