Subject: What aircraft would you trust with your life?
Name: oxusaf
Message: Tie between a C-130 and an A-10. Both can get shot to hell and still fly and both can fly on one motor for a long time. Of course the A-10 has that Titanium "bathtub" surrounding the cockpit.

Subject: Real FAKE
Name: oxusaf
Message: I would not be surprised if it is real, just recently a commercial airline company picked up a brand new Boeing 777 and the pilot buzzed the runway at a mere 20 ft off the ground with the gear up and subsequently was fired because the company's president was on board. I will try to find the story and post the link.

Subject: US vs RUSSIA
Name: oxusaf
Message: Aint that the damn truth. I looked up what conscript means and it is a military concept used all over the world and not just by communist and socialist countries, it is when the country has a mandator service requirement for it's citizens. Germany has it and so do most other countries. So yes they do have a conscript military still. They need to get their economy out of the gutter so they can pay those poor bastards better and get better quality out of its service men/women and that will only happen when they quit this stodgy socialism crap.

Message: Have you ever witnessed the capabilities of the F/A-22 and the SU-37. I have, and for a technology demonstrator the Su-37 is incredible however the F/A-22 is just as maneuverable if not more maneuverable than the Su-37 and untill the the Terminator is a production aircraft then we will never find out which is best, will we.

Subject: I think a more interesting dogfight would be...
Name: oxusaf
Message: What the hell are you talking about, you are trying to compare WW2 aircraft with the most technologically advanced aircraft ever built. That makes no sense whatsoever. The Spitfire is a beautiful aircraft and has a great legacy but this doesn't make any sense. I am guessing from your name and the fact that you brought up the spitfire that you are from Great Britain?

Message: That plane doesn't need any of that stuff it already turns tight enough. It is not supposed to be pretty, itis designed around a weapon, don't forget that. The 30 MM avenger cannon.

Subject: best bomber ever made
Name: oxusaf
Message: I have to agree with the firstsgt, B-52, albeit the B-58 is cool it never did the job that the b-52 has done, and don't quote me on this but I do believe the b-52 has greater range, payload and obviously speed (jet vs. turbo prop). Also the b-52 will continue to serve for another 40 years, this is coming straight from ACC (Air Combat Command).
